Every Word You Say About Yourself Is Writing Your Future

I'm taking up in a different realm because normally what I do is I just give you a word and I say to you, speak. This is what the Lord says that must happen. But today I'm bringing to you something entirely different from the normal preaching that I normally do because I believe it's a time that we should speak into our own lives. I believe it's time that we should not just speak into our own lives, but we should, we should, do you say, we should actually prophesy into our lives. Because whether you like it or not, you are always prophesying. You are always prophesying and sometimes you need to prophesy. You need to prophesy, how do you call it, the right things. Because when we prophesy, ooh, it's life is tough. Ooh, life is hard. And the prophetic word that you keep on giving to you makes life hard and life tough. And that is why this morning I am bringing to you a message that I have entitled, Speak Prophetic into Your Life. I've entitled it, Speak Prophetic into Your Life. And the nicest part of it is that even Anne-Marie-Anne didn't even know what the message was, but one of the words that Anne-Marie-Anne just said, don't put yourself short. Yes, don't limit yourself. Don't limit yourself. Because what I was saying, I am not the keyboardist. And I should actually prophesy that I'm a worshipper of God that plays keyboard. Amen. That's actually what I should be saying. Yes. Because when I say it, I am not a keyboardist. I am not. Yes. That prophetic word. Yes. That I should say. Yes. Prophesy over yourself. Yes. And that's the one that we actually should do into our lives. The Bible says that when you're looking at your tongue, it's like a rada. Now, a rada is the thing that steers a boat into directions. A rada steers a boat into direction. Now, without a rada, the boat cannot be moving into a direction that makes sense. Now, without a rada, the boat cannot be moving into a direction that makes sense. The boat will end up on rocks whilst it's supposed to go at sea. And the only time it needs to come closer to rocks is when they dock. That's top. That's top. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, why I'm mentioning this this morning is that when the two weeks came, we had a, I think, I think, I think it's not even two weeks, I think it's two months now that we've been having this attacks, like many attacks. It's so, so many of them. And when you have that attacks, you keep on saying something that Satan will then use to your disadvantage and run with it as if you were the one that gave him the key to run with it. Because this is what happened. I was saying to, I was saying to Lytton when he was asking me, I need to do some printing for my school project. I said, I didn't have, I don't have money. And he said, Teddy, but I didn't ask you for money. I asked you for prints. And I'm like, huh? At that time, it didn't strike me at first, but the way he said it. And made me to, to realize our focus is on the money. On the money. And, and, and lo and behold, I might not always say it, but I know him to be a prophet. Because whatever he said, I still remember there was a, a year when we were still, still staying in the blue flats down there. And, Lytton was saying, probably like a year, two years, and he was still young. He gave me this vision that he had. And, and when he gave me the vision, he said to me, I saw Uncle Edgar was helped by gunpoint. And, and, in my mind, a second. Yeah. I don't know. But then, what happened is that, probably a year or two after that, Pastor Edgar was actually going up to, to, to Hillary and the bucky was parked at the bottom. And, and, as the bucky was parked at the bottom. Uh, uh, uh, uh, no, no, I, I forgot this one. Then, Lytton said, he was at gunpoint. But then, when he was put at gunpoint, I came, and the guys ran away. Then, it so happened, that he was parked, and they tried to steal the bucky. The time, when I came down. Ah, ah, ah. Bishop, you're not, you're not humble, eh? Ah, ah. Look at this, Bishop. Yo, yo, yo. Come. Come here. Huh? What is it? Come here. Leave him, leave him. It looks too beautiful today. It looks like the pastor of the house, eh? Come. Huh? I want, I want. Huh? Look at this one. Hmm? The pastor of the house. Hey, hey, hey. Looking good, eh? Choo, choo, choo. Hey, hey. Like, uh, the, the, the, the, the bishop of the bishops. So, it happened that Pastor Edgar was parked at the bottom of the place, he ran up to, to Hillary. Come back, he found the guys who were busy trying to steal the bucky. And as they were trying to steal the bucky, as they were trying to steal the bucky, they had him at gunpoint. Don't forget that one, eh? Just to check if it works there at all. So, when they held him at gunpoint, is the time I drove with the, uh, I had a Dodge Journey, maroon Dodge Journey, red Dodge Journey. And I came on my way, I saw the bucky, and I put on my, my lights, like, how do you call it, bright lights. And when they saw the brights coming for them, they jump into their car and they ran. Wow. And Lytton was actually saying this, probably a year or two before that time. The way he said it. And I was like, yo, look at this guy. So, he could see it at that time. And when I thought, ah, it's just kids talk. I still said a prayer. God won't let it happen. That's why I said a prayer. But yet it happened, just to prove a point, that God is still in control, showing you signs, before you know it, through a small, because he was small that time. That's why, when he said, I don't ask you for money. I was like, sure. Hey, this guy, he hit me. And that is why I'm saying to you, speak prophetic into your life. Oh, and I'm saying it prophetic, ne? But I'm also talking about the change of words in your words. Because I am useless is also prophetic. I can't play keyboard. It's also prophetic. But it's a negative prophetic word. Yes. That should have been changed to a positive prophetic word. That's in line with God's word. Let me go to, to 1 Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 14, verse 3, ne? 1 Corinthians 14, verse 3. 1 Corinthians 14, verse 3 says the following. So some of the prophetic words is devilish. Because if you can hear what it should be, it should edify, it should, it should exhort, and it should comfort. So when I say, my message being entitled, speak prophetic into your life, I should have actually said it. I should have actually said it, prophetically according to the Bible. Because if I say, speak prophetic, it doesn't mean it's the right prophetic words that you use. So what is prophecy? Prophecy is to speak unto men, unto men, to edification. What is prophecy? It's to speak unto men and exhortation. What is prophecy? It's to comfort you. So, when something is prophesied to you, it should not be a word that is your opinion. It should come from scripture. But some of you might ask, but what is it necessary? Is it really that necessary? He says, yes, it matters. You know why prophecy matters? Prophecy matters because, number one, it builds faith. Yes. What is thy scripture? Romans 10, eh? Let me, let me, let me get a scripture icon. I think Romans 10. Is it Romans 10, 17, I think. Is it? Yeah. Romans 10 says, so then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Can you see? So, when you prophesy, you should know that prophetic word is coming from God's word. And by hearing God's word, it lifts. That is why prophecy matters. So, you need to keep on prophesying to yourself. And by prophesying to yourself, I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. It gives you that little of faith. It boosts your faith. Imagine, faith cometh by hearing. But imagine, it also shifts atmospheres. If you go to Ezekiel 37. Ezekiel 37 says, prophesy to these bones. So, it means that when there's dry things in your life, prophesy to those dry bones. Prophesy to that dry bones. You know, dry bones sometimes in our lives might not be the dry bones that we're going through. But it's the situations that our lives have been given to us. Dry bones to me might not be the same dry bones to you. My dry bones is small. And I see it big. Yours is big, but you see it small. Dry bones. What is the dry bones that is in your life? Prophesy to those dry bones. Now, one of the things that I love about prophecy as well is that it matters because it confirms God's promise in your life. Amen. Levin, do you know what is God's promise for your life? God's promise for your life in Jeremiah 29 verse 11 says that, The thoughts, I think, towards you is thoughts of good. It's not to harm you. It's to prosper you. Now, what is prosperity? In the harm, there's something that will happen that will prosper you. A muscle that turns, when it gets healed, it's a bigger muscle. A ligament, muscle. You know how it happens that bodybuilders become bodybuilders. It's the, they lift up the, the weight, the muscle is almost like stretching, and it, it's almost toning. And as it becomes, as it heals, it becomes bigger. Turn it again, it's bigger. Just go, go and study the science of, of how they become bigger. You will hear, it's mostly, harming, or harmful. But the plan of God, even though it's harming, it's not to harm you. Amen. The prophetic is not about predicting the future, most of the time. Because people go for, hey, man of God, what is God saying? Where does the future keep me? No. Sometimes it is. But it's not. Yo. It's actually, it's more about declaring God's word into the now. If I say to you, there will be, if I say to you, there will be a, a free, Yeah. Let me, no, let me, let me go back to the credit of this. I don't know who I'm crediting this to, but I saw it. Somebody said, there was a sign in a bar that says, free beer tomorrow. And the sign is written boldly so that everybody can see it. And when you come today, it's tomorrow. When you come tomorrow, it says tomorrow again. So the tomorrow never comes. So declaring God's word into the now, not declaring it, I will be, I am. Do you know who I am? I know who I am. We are the chosen generation. Call for to show his excellence. All I require for life God has given me. And I know who I am. That is who you are. So please, I'm asking you, take a specific scripture that resonates with you. What is resonating with you? What is resonating with you? If something is resonating with you today, a specific scripture, maybe it's a, it's a Psalm 23 that resonates today. The Lord is my shepherd. Keep on prophesying that to you and say the Lord is my shepherd. If it is a Psalm 121 for argument's sake, the Lord preserve me from evil. That it is, then he preserve me from evil. My going out and my coming in are covered today and forever. That's prophetic. So activate the prophetic by speaking God's word over a situation that you're going through at the moment. Ma, the Bible says that, the Bible says that, in the, what's it, in the brow of the, the sweat of the eyebrows, you will make your money or you will make your bread. Oh, who's it, yeah, you will, you will eat your bread in the sweat of your eyebrows, ne? That scripture, I, I can't remember specifically, but you know what scripture I'm talking about? I think, uh, take, uh, take, uh, take, uh, take the front seat for, for, for, for me. Thank you. Yeah, now you look like the, so, when that scripture says, Let me, let me, let me, let me google it. Forgive me, but, if, for some weird reason, I can't get the scripture. Uh, I need to get the right scripture now. Genesis 3, 19. Maybe, if I can give it the right way. Genesis 3, verse 19. Genesis 3, verse 19. In the sweat of thy face, shall thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground, for out of it was thou taken, and thus thou art, and unto thus thou should return. So, it says, in the sweat of thy face, shall thou eat bread. What does that mean? Is that, when you work, you will eat. But, if you work, you must eat. So, why I'm saying, I'm giving you description, eh? Is that, you have been working. You must eat. You, you, you see the prophetic in it. No one can ever work this hard in life, without eating of their labor. What is it, that you've been working hard on, that there's no labor? Start speaking the word of God, and say, in the sweat of thy face, shall thou eat bread. Prophetic word. Today, you are a pastor, now you... In the sweat. That's prophetic. So, you need to activate the word daily. That is why, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Joshua 1 verse 9 says daily. Look at Joshua 1 verse 9. Wait. Let me, let me read it for you. Joshua 1 verse 9. Is it verse 9 Yeah It says If not I commanded thee Be strong and of good courage Be afraid Either be thou dismayed For the Lord thy God is with thee Wheresoever thou goest Be of good courage So these are the words that you should be Constantly Saying to yourself Yes Yes Sometimes I hate it when When I got Afrikaans is best to say it Yeah Only through God's word Not Not by anybody preaching it So You need to know What is prophecy You need to know Why prophecy matters So prophecy Is to speak the mind of God Is to speak the mind of God And why it matters It's because it built faith And it It thing? The Bible says that the peace of God reigns, according to Corinthians 14 verse 33, 1 Corinthians 14 verse 33. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of saints. So, where you lack peace, where there's confusion, every confusion is silenced. That's according to scripture. So, when you feel confused or not at peace, declare, every confusion is silenced by the peace of God that reigns. If you're looking for protection, you go to Psalm 121 verse 7 and verse 8 and you declare, the Lord preserve your soul, the souls of your family, the souls of your journey. Not the souls of your journey, but your journey. So, the Lord preserve your soul, your family and the journey that you are going on, according to Psalm 121 verse 7 and verse 8. And I want you to go and read this at home so that it can declare to you the way it declared to me by the time I read it. If you want protection over your life, you can go to 2 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 3, where 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 3, your declaration will be, No evil will overtake you, no evil will overtake you, no evil will overtake you, for the faithful is to keep you, I mean, for the Lord is faithful to keep you, he's faithful and he's just, 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 3, I mean, if at any time you feel weak, You know, you know, sometimes it's not the work or the hard work that we have done, but it's our mental capacity that makes us to feel weak. You can go to Isaiah 40 verse 30 and you say, where strength fails, God renews you, you rise like eagle. Because when you, those who wait upon the Lord will mount up, you see that, you're waiting upon the Lord, so when there's no strength in you, you can say, where strength has failed me, God renews me. When you declare that, when you declare that, the Lord delivers you from every evil work, that is according to 2 Timothy 4 verse 18, 2 Timothy 4 verse 18, you declare that upon your life, and you say, the Lord delivers me from every evil work. Sometimes, sometimes, it's so hard for you to know that Bible is there to teach you. Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes, sometimes, I ask myself, if it wasn't for myself, living myself into the Bible, it would have been something that I can tell you now, that I would have failed 100 times ago, a long time ago, and I would have been gone. But because of, but because of, the Bible has been my protection, even way before, I was not even saved at the time, hardcore sinner, and God preserved me, because of the plans that He has for me. Amen. What is, what, what, Psalm 8, what is man? He says, Lord, oh Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth, who has set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and sucklings has thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, and that thou mayest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou had ordained, what is man, that thou art mindful of him, the son of man, that thou visited him. So, when I was even not yet given my life to Jesus, he already knew what I'm supposed to do, and therefore, today, he has thought of me, he has given me this thing, that by the time when somebody was trying to stab me, he stabbed me here once, he stabbed me here twice. The second time when he stabbed me here, God knew if it would have been one inch lower or one inch higher, it would have been in my heart, but luckily, my ribcage stopped the knife from penetrating through me. And God is so faithful at that time when I actually found out what is this, why am I paining here? When the adrenaline came down, I felt the pain, and when I saw the blood, and me seeing blood, I saw red, and I wanted to kill this guy. Luckily, God knew, if I would have killed that guy, I would have been in jail, and he sent an evangelist story. At that time, he was, he was the, you can almost say the ninja of the whole Pushdin where we used to stay, and he came to stop the guy, or stop me from killing that guy. God knew, God knew, and therefore, it's very important to understand that the Lord delivers you from every evil work. The Bible says it that, I mean, you, sorry, I mean, you have to declare, according to John 3, verse 34, So you walk in overflow, because of the Spirit of God, because of the Spirit of God, that is upon you, John 3, verse 34. The Bible also said, your work is rewarded, and God pays you in full. That's what you have to declare. Your work is rewarded, and it's, and God pays you in full. I think I should go to this, this scripture. Suddenly, suddenly the voice is, the voice today is confusing me. I sometimes... Oh my... declare and decree that the weeping i am going through now is only my night time i'm going through but joy will come in the morning joy will come in the morning it's no use of us keep on saying certain things in our lives because of we let me not let me not go there sometimes i i wish i can say say and you know those things that those times where you where you forgot that you are on the word of god that he has put into my mouth i will prophesy that word i will use that prophetic word that god has been given to me and according to the bible you need to say your tongue speak life and not death your tongue speak life and not death amen i sometimes wonder when somebody says no i sometimes wonder when somebody speak so badly about themselves i i cry actually if you go to proverbs 120 i mean sorry not one 1821 sorry death and life are in the power of the tongue and thy that love it shall eat the fruit thereof so your tongue speaks life it needs to the comforter has come you decree and declare the comforter has come you are guided and strengthened and filled by the comforter john 16 verse 7 and 8 today i didn't want to give you the scriptures that's why i didn't write the as as pastors must stop being god and stop giving the scriptures to people so that they can go and read their own bibles and i i try to live by it but sometimes to bring the message forth it's just honor his word more than he honor himself so when you use the word against your enemies when you use your words against your situations when you use your words in tricky situations the word of god will take you out it will help you sometimes we need to gather together like maybe we choose partners and and give each other each other i'm over time give each other prophetic words you know like that's it speak into each other's life speak joy into somebody's life speak peace into somebody's life speak strength into somebody's life speak healing into somebody's life give them a prophetic word according to the bible says the lord is your shepherd why are you crying that there's nothing in the fridge at the name of jesus every knee must bow even that sickness even that depth even that fear even that confusion they have to bow down they can't stand before before god lord jesus stir up the gift of prophecy into everybody's life let every dry place receive life let every stormy river come down let your glory be the one that has been seen amongst our people anytime whenever we speak let it not be our words but direct words from you for your glory show us your glory god according to i am the one that bring it forth but your glory be proven to others sometimes sometimes my my my prayers that i say to god is is is is sometimes out of anger i sometimes swear at him you know you know speaking to somebody i don't like swearing to others like human beings i won't do it to them i can be as angry as i am but i will yeah i hold back but when i speak to god when i'm angry i say it because the reason i'm saying it to him is so that he can reprimand me here and there and tell me what is the way forward heavenly father i have said it by your word and by your word only so therefore in the mighty name of jesus let the prophetic be in our mouths let the prophetic be in our hearts let the prophetic be in our minds in the mighty name of jesus christ our lord and savior now may the grace of our lord jesus christ the love of god and the sweet fellowship of the holy spirit rest and abide with us all until jesus comes surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our
