Why Some Things Refuse to Move

to yourself i mean if you're looking at it you've been praying but some of the cycles keep on coming back and you you even fasted but the atmosphere in your home it's a bit difficult to explain so things are not coming all right so you said everything that you said you said in the name of jesus and still everything resists you i mean you know the bible verses and yet some of your habits don't change i mean who doesn't who doesn't know the bible say don't kill but you're not killing physically you're killing verbally and i'm not getting into that but sometimes you feel your your your your spirit is pressured and you are tired sometimes you're even grieving and yet nothing has changed so if this is you i can tell you now this message is for you i mean you've prayed for yes yet there's no pattern changes there's no uh authority that you can say that you have and uh obedience feel that it's too costly i mean you've been if you look looking at it some of the times even you say to your dearly don't understand how can i do everything you ask me to do but yet nothing changed but yet nothing changed now if you feel like this i can guarantee you now today this message is for you if you feel like this today i can guarantee you this message is for you so some of the things that i will mention i will mention to you might feel different than what you believe in but i think it's very important to understand that this is not a message for religious people religious people will tell you otherwise if you are religious i think you can just you might as well just go out or leave this live stream or from wherever from youtube facebook wherever you're listening from you might as well just leave because this is not for you because the modern christianity is a different christianity than what you've been told because believing is not enough confessions is not enough i mean you've been been confessing ah it's not enough i mean you know what to do but yet things are not changing it's not enough so scripture teaches us something harder and this is where i want to bring my message in today now my message is entitled why some things refuse to move why some things refuse to move now god never gave us a um authority which is not a part of order you need to understand that there's order in authority if i make an example for argument's sake a cleaner can't tell a ceo that you're not working you're not cleaning this correctly because obviously a ceo's job is not to clean something he must clean yes don't understand don't uh get me wrong a ceo can clean where he's been maybe for argument's sake he's been drinking water and then drink the water messes on the table he must clean where he was messy it does not mean that he must now call the the cleaner to come that is not what i mean god never gave authority apart from order so therefore if you there should be a structure of your power so there's messages that i preached before which i said you have to look to for argument's sake the earth when you do spiritual warfare because that's what demons and um not demons i i mean uh some gomas spiritual forces use you have to use the blood so we have a few things that we've mentioned but today we're going to go a little bit further which i'm going to share two spiritual uh weapons which the one is the word and it proves authority and one is the name that also proves authority and the word is the reality where the name is is the authority of things and remember that these are not just tools they are laws because when you're looking at it authority is not just a sound like the name of jesus is not just the sound because some pray even everything they they they do it's like they end their prayers in the name of jesus as if it is a you can almost call it like a a religious way of saying it because if you say it you need to say it with authority so what the name actually means this is now your your hebrew the name shem it means shem so this meaning is an identity it's a reputation it's a memorial authority bound to character so this is what that means so to profane a name in hebrew thought was not to misuse that word it was not to misrepresent it it was to give meaning or rank or offers or to delegate authority that is what it meant now he has been given us a name i'm just looking for my scripture quickly i wanna i want us to read um called the word of god god now john 1 verse 1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god and when when you're looking at that and here talking about the name it's tied to the word so it's it doesn't separate the two from each other therefore i wanted to give you only one only one spiritual weapon and then give another one but then i realize if i do give you only one you might separate the two and think it's two different things no it's not two different things it's one when people pray they end it like as if it's a magic spell i ask this in the name of jesus and it leaves it there so when you say in the name of jesus it's not the religious talking i'm talking about you are making a legal claim because of when you're making a legal claim i'm acting as his representative under his authority not i'm acting on my name because this is what normally used to happen is that when somebody is is supposed to go and give a message over in the old old days they will use like a a a envelope and then when the envelope gets closed you close the end of envelope like this and then you put a seal of the the the the the king to stamp that this message come from the in the name of jesus it it doesn't just mean it's a religious spell or a magic spell it means that you are standing in the authority of jesus you are standing that the the that this claim is true and therefore the spiritual people or the spiritual authorities have to understand that you are a representative of christ therefore most of the time when people start speaking and they say i speak under the authority of jesus and i say to you demon reveal yourself they starting to speak out that's when you do a deliverance ministry but remember this is something that i can say to you it's not just a word that you have to say according to luke let's let's go to luke 6 verse 46 now luke 6 verse 46 say it as follow and why call he me lord lord and do not and do not the things which i say so it's like almost as if you are using the name of jesus but you're not using what jesus is asking you to do because when he says that you can speak it means that you can use but why do you call me lord lord and do not the things which i say christians christians don't fail because they don't know the name of christ they don't fail because they don't know what it means they do fail for one reason or another they're using the word of the name of god incorrectly they're using the name of god incorrectly and i want to take the time and explain to you this now when you speak about And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the father. This is this is almost like as if you are you are you can call it. This is like a courtroom language. Like like when a judge speaks. He speaks authority. It's like you can almost call it a government language. I hope I make sense because. When when when you're talking about heavenly realms, somebody understand that that name in heavenly realms, realms, it has power. If you speak on earth, it has power. Even if you speak under the earth, it has power. Sometimes I I laugh at people screaming at demons in the name of Jesus as if they are not having authority. As if demons are hard of hearing. Press number three. What is that? What? So it's hard of hearing. And sometimes the demon is not hard of hearing. It's just that you don't have the authority to speak. So by the time you just say in the name of Jesus. Immediately. They start trembling. And that is. Because of the jurisdiction or the name that you use. It's powerful. But I need to also advise you. I'm sorry. I need to also advise you. According to Matthew 7. Verse 22 and 23. That the name without relationship becomes a noise. A name without relationship becomes a noise. Because if you read Matthew 7. Verse 22. It says as follow. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord. Have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons, demons, devils. And in thy name done many wonderful works. And then I will profess unto them. I never knew you. Depart from me. Yet that work. Yet that work. Iniquity. So when you're looking at the Bible. Well, it gives you reasons to understand that you need to work according to authority. Because the name needs authority. The name of Jesus. It gives authority. And it needs to be used with authority. You know. When the demons were asking. No. They were actually saying. Ah. Jesus. I know. Paul. I even know. But who are you? So you need to have that kind of a relationship with Christ to be using the name of Jesus. It's no use of you saying in the name of Jesus. But you don't have relationship with Jesus. That name is then just a religious use of the name. And religious use of the name is the reason why you still sit where you are. Demons are tramping on your head. While the Bible says you will even tramp on demons. While demons are tramping on you. Because you don't have the relationship. If you had the relationship. Demons would have known. That anytime whenever you say in the name of Jesus. You are a representative of Jesus. You are a representative of Jesus. You're not just using it. Because you heard your pastor said. Pray in the name of Jesus. You heard your mother. Your great grandfathers were talking about. Pray in the name of Jesus. But the authority of Jesus. Will only comes with a relationship. So what authority structure do you stand under? Because if you stand under the authority of Jesus. And you are a part of Jesus. Like he said. Me and my father. We are one. If you and Jesus are one. You can do that. By speaking. In the name of Jesus. You can cast out demons. I sometimes have a. Have an issue. With people. That say. My prayers. Has not been answered. Ask the question. Under whose authority. You are standing. I sometimes. I sometimes have a problem. I want to make sure that. I need you to understand that. Whatever we are doing. It's to. To proclaim. Jesus. And to make disciples. Those of men. It's the great commission. And the great commission. Is obviously. To make sure. That. Anytime. Whenever you are. Standing. You. You. You draw people. To Jesus. Or you call them. Unto Jesus. You're not just preaching. Because preaching. Can be done. Can be done. Anyway. But it. It is. Very important. To make sure. That people. Understand it. Most of the things. That you have found. That is not working. It's because of. You have not given your life. To Jesus. As yet. Therefore. You can't have. The authority. To use the name. And. Of God. There's no separation. Between the two. Because. If you're looking. At it. The Bible. Even says. That. God. Honours. His word. High above. Himself. I mean. If I'm saying. To you. Green underpants. In. I don't even think. In my entire life. I've worn a green underpants. Because. I don't. Like. The color. As an underpants. Yes. As a t-shirt. As a trouser. Maybe. Not. My underpants. Must be. I don't like. This. Even white. Just so that you can understand. That. My word. I'm saying to you. I can say to you. But I can't prove it to you. God can say it. Without proof. Do you understand what I mean? If God said it. It is done. Therefore. It's a spiritual weapon. To use. The name of the Lord. And the word of the Lord. We have spoken about the blood. We have spoken about the earth. We have spoken about truth. So these are all. Spiritual weapons. That we use. And. Even with all those. Demons has manifested. Just by us. Telling you. You should understand. One thing. Demons. Is not just. A vocabulary. The name is a. Is an authority. It's an authoritative. Word. the name is not just a a label like like when you go to the the greek word it's onoma so it shows even in in the lexicons it it consistently show it includes the idea of a person's authority a rank a representation and a delegated commission that's according to the lexicon and i need you to understand that some of the things that we are doing we're doing it because we heard or we've seen it by others not because of we know it not because we know it i wish you can know what the name jesus really do i'm not saying you should you should know a lot no i didn't say that if only your spiritual eyes would have been opened you would understand that some of the things that happen in in in society if i can call it this way in and around us it's more spiritual than what it is physical how do you explain how do you explain let me not go there can i reserve my comment on that one but how do you explain but how do you explain you're going to doctors and the doctor can't tell you what's wrong with you the doctor can't tell you what's wrong with you you go to the next doctor yet that doctor can't tell you what's wrong with you you go to the third one and yet they can't tell you what's wrong with you you go to a prophetic ministry and the prophet of god tells you exactly it's a fibroid it's all about the spiritual things that you need to understand because spiritual warfare only happen in spiritual realms if you're not spiritual enough you won't understand you know some people they feel they they they've been praying and praying and praying and they feel drained it's like almost as if the warfare increase as you pray it doesn't decrease it's almost like as if you when you when you give declaration there's no longer peace many will say to me Lord Lord have we not prophesy in your name many would say that and you would say ah hey yet I have not know you so authority flows from knowing it doesn't flow from the activity that is why God has been given us so many talents so many gifts we can use it but do we know the God of the talents the God of the gifts that's a different story the Greek word for new in in in in this spirit specific scripture of what is this thing called Matthew the Greek word here it's ginosko which means a relational knowing not an informational knowing not I'm giving you the information that Christ is Lord of my life it's the knowing how do I know Christ is Lord of all my life is the way he has been has been proven himself so many a times that I now are convicted deep within me that he is not by what I've heard my forefathers were saying that we are Christians I mean if you if you take for argument sake a police officer when you see a police officer immediately you see authority you see authority but do you also know at the same time in today's life even though I see a police officer I don't still trust a police officer because I don't know if their clothes has been stolen the authority is no longer there even if you sit in a police car with police uniform with the gun of a police I still can't trust but when I see a police officer in a police station I immediately know this is a police officer but outside I won't know this is where I'm coming now as I go there a Christian is a Christian in church but outside we don't see therefore the name Jesus cannot be used when they go outside the moment they see somebody who is having a convulsion convulsion what is they convulsion they can't go to the person and lay hands and say in the name of Jesus be thou healed because only in church they can do it and therefore you are you are restricted to your jurisdiction which is church only the name can be used but in relationship wherever you are you can still use spiritual warfare in the name of Jesus I think I've been I've been punching long enough on the name let me go to the word let me go to the word no I'm not starting my message now I say it's part of the message two fold the word of God and the name of God can't be separated in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God did you hear what it says there if if you can understand that part it's no need for me to break it down for you because I think it's it's plain explanatory or what do you call that thing it's straightforward yeah and if I go and I say Hebrew meaning for the word is dabar and the meaning there it's it's a thing or a matter or an event so which means speech I mean speech and substance they're not separated so when you talk you must have words of substance do you know that when some of the words are going out people are making money with their words people are making money with their words Les Brown he just talked I don't know if you know Les Brown he's a motivational speaker charging a lot of money for just a half an hour to an hour worth of talk because his words are so transformational that people are prepared to pay for it Tony Robbins people are prepared to pay for it I remember the last time he charged for an event of two days 70 thousand rent per person two days and this does not include your your your sleeping place what what accommodation it's for him to come and speak to you people are making money with their words if you just use words with substance let's go to Isaiah 55 verse 11 Isaiah 55 verse 11 you must you know when we say we stay with the owens we belong with the owens we park with the owens this is the word of God it will stay but why do you think the word and the name must function together you remember we were talking about the blood last time that is a legal access because what happened is that if the blood is not on the door post it gave the enemy legal access to enter so when the blood is there the legal access is denied that was the blood so the name gives you as a person an authority so it's an authority it's an authoritative name while the word gives you reality if you remove one yourself and you said you whenever the word goes forth it will not come back to you void and at the same time you say and the word is the one that cuts through bone and marrow you let your word be accomplished because now you have used scriptures to back what you are saying therefore knowing the word before the pressure comes before Jesus was hungry he knew the word before he fasted he knew the word so whenever satan came with hunger he could say it is written man shall not live by bread alone he even used it but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God that is the reality of knowing I mean I need you to understand that authority when authority increase your your your weaknesses decrease make sense what I'm trying to say you know like when you when you are higher in Christ your weaknesses becomes lower and it doesn't have power over you because no if I can say it like this when somebody of integrity speaks to you and tell you something you won't doubt it no you won't because you know the person is of integrity so I need you to I need you to do a few things now look into your life like look deep inside yourself and identify where your life contradicts the word where your life contradicts the word and where it contradicts the word bring that behavior into alignment with the word bring it into alignment with the word and just stop using the name of Jesus casually stop using the name casually because if you keep on praying in the name of Jesus you make it so religious that it doesn't have authority let the word of God structure your life let the word of God structure your life and I want to say the final word sometimes we are so excited oh this and that other the kingdom of God does not respond to enthusiasm it responds to order if you have the authority of Christ you can speak not out of enthusiasm if you have authority you it's like the word of God is structuring your life and when the word of God is structuring your life the name of Christ back your voice I can I can what he said all demons cast out yeah I can cast out demons like come on in in the name of Jesus out I don't have to say out in the name of Jesus because of the authority that I have in the name of Christ because of the relationship I have with Christ not because of the religious value of every time I see somebody casting out demons in the name of Jesus now I also want to use the name of Jesus but the word of God is not within me come on you understand why it's very important to understand that I don't I don't I don't I don't think we understand the power that the word and his name have because when Jesus says it is written he confirmed that he knew before the storm of hunger can come he knew the word and he could use the word in the storm that came and then when this demon says ah you know Jesus I know even Paul I know why did he say that it's not because of Paul was a name that everybody knew Jesus was a better name than Paul's name because people were scannering about Jesus more than they were scannering about Paul but the authority that he had as Paul is Paul yeah why why am I not I almost thought I'm talking about somebody yeah but let me talk about this this Paul Paul was maybe not known in the area by a lot of people but because of the authority that he had even the demons knew him therefore they could say yeah I know Jesus even that man Paul I know him because the moment when he comes close by I must run but who are you that is why it's very important to understand that whenever we go to the word of God and the name it has power it's not a part of a lyrics there is power in the name of Jesus no there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain break every chain break every chain no it's not lyrics it's the word of God that has power like I said to you when we're talking about the power so shall my word be that go forth out of my mouth it shall not return unto me void but it shall accomplish what which I please and it shall prosper in the thing wherefore I send it not I speak and no one listen no when God speak even the donkey say that guy he was speaking to me the donkey starts speaking because the donkey could hear while human beings couldn't I wish we can understand because one day when the storms of life comes and you don't have the word to back up that storm the storm will drop you I said to you the house is not a proof of the house is standing but outweighing the storm that the house can stand for is a proof that the house structure is strong it's only the storm that can tell me this roof is still standing stronger that mkukus that the rain comes one two three gone it's not a sign wow this guy can build beautiful it's the strength that it can withstand that makes a difference if you are strong in christ you can use the authoritative word and say in my name they shall cast out huh isn't that a nice promise it's it's a it's a it's a nice promise why do we keep on fighting if exodus 14 verse 14 says peace i will fight for you you will hold your peace these are the words that whenever you are standing in problematic areas it's important to know you need to have the word of god within you you need to not just have the word according to james 1 22 remember in the beginning i said to you my message is entitled why some things refuse to move the way it refuse to move is because of james 1 22 what does james 1 22 says it's a it's a something that i can say to you we will hear this year because if we don't do we will always be the devil do it the bible says you shall tramp on his head what is tramp tramp you will stand on his head now he's standing on your head why because you have given him the authority you have taken the blood from your doorpost i told you it's very important to understand that some of the things we might miss because of religious reasons religiously we've been told in the name of jesus but what authority do you stand on and through that authority you need to i say to you thank you for the word because your word you said is yay and amen and we cannot move anything from it subtract detract move it away we cannot do anything except for the word being going out so therefore we say thank you for your word that is a double-edged sword cutting through bone and marrow and in the mighty name of jesus that this word that went out today is the word that will be and the sweet fellowship of the holy spirit rest and abide with us all until jesus comes surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the lord
