Why Sunday Feels Different and Monday Feels Like Nothing Changed

but i greet all in the mighty name of jesus amen now i i spoke about it last week about wi-fi to wi-fi but today i would like to to start off my message because some people have a tendency to to think that whenever you preach it's not for me but this message is specifically for all of us because we live live in a world full of connections but little communications little communion we we we live in a a life full of followers but less for fellowship i mean you have so many followers followers but you don't have fellowship we live in a life where there's wi-fi there's a connection but there's no wi-fi there's no white fire people scroll all night but still they feel empty they they sit like they sit with phone but still they are empty families eat together i'm telling you they eat together but then they stay at phones i don't understand but then they stay at phones they are present but not present they are here but they're not here so christians attend church services but they go home unchanged there's so many people that are going to church today but there's nothing changing they went to church you know what is the reason for that they literally literally they confuse performance for presence performance is the the thing they don't realize god's presence is not there i was actually when i said to you last week we spoke about the the from wi-fi to wi-fire where two disciples walking their hearts were burning when jesus was present that is now in luke 24 verse 32 maybe i should just go there quickly um luke 24 and that's the verse 32 and i want us to to to make sure that you hear this night he says and they said unto one another did not our hearts burn within us while he talked with us by the way and while he opened to us the scriptures so so when when his presence is there you will feel it i mean they had information about jesus but only his presence turned the confusion revelation into revelation just his presence turned the confusion into revelation they had didn't burn because of a sermon no no no because a sermon can be wow but it won't change because the presence of god is not in there the presence of walking beside them is not there and that is how most churches today are preaching like power but nowhere is any change happening and i mean if you're looking at this picture this now if presence can ignite their hearts while they were walking in a dusty road a dusty road hey i'm just saying what will you do if you host them in your home if you host that presence of god in your home not just in your home but in your workplace at your daily places where you go just picture that presence that will be something wow so when your host god himself something's happening so that is why it's very important to understand that the things that we're going through is sometimes because we are not making use of the presence we just you know what the bible says that he's the omnipresent god so when you are weak he's even stronger in you but when we are weak we forget that he's ever is ever present because sometimes if i say this i might try to tramp on toe but it doesn't matter today we are we are we are talking to we are saying to make a change you know some people have a tendency of saying ah i know the bible they know it from genesis to revelation right through there's no scripture that they don't know literally literally there's no scripture that they don't know but you ask them specific what does this scripture mean or what did it reveal to you they will be like they call it copper knowledge in africans we say copper knowledge it's only a head knowledge it's not heart knowledge so what's the use of having head knowledge but not heart knowledge somebody says i love my neighbor but the first thing they do is they hit their wife isn't that a part of putting pain onto somebody that you love because my understanding is that you should not do unto others what you don't want to be done on yourself amen that's my understanding so what is the use of having it in your head but not in your heart but let me ask you what is presence and i want us to go to psalm 27 verse 8 psalm 27 verse 8 psalm 27 verse 8 says the following he says when thou say it seek ye my face my heart said unto thee thy face lord i will seek amplify it you have said seek my face inquire for for for and require my presence and your vital needs my heart says to you your face your presence lord i will seek inquire for and require of necessity and the authority of your word now i remember a problem i i said to you last week we were talking about the face the face the panim which means face the presence of god is meaning he's turning his face towards you that is what i said now so the greek also is being alongside so presence is not just a rival like he's here he's going to be having almost like going like that uh you remember when you when you were the first time you are in love you have this thing of holding hands and walking the street like somebody must just know that the two of you it's a song you are together you know it's like it's like if somebody is with god and they don't want to show off it's a different thing because there's some reasons that people say but being alongside him it's what presence means so it's it's just not it's not just the sunday feeling it's a daily reality because sundays um you songs sing a song they say said on sunday how much i want revival but then on monday i can't even find my bible i mean it's like you go bishop have you heard that song yeah it's it's it's it's a it's like you're you said you said on sunday how much you want revival but then on monday you can't even find your bible where is the power the power of the cross in my life that's the words that uh hill songs sing and imagine so if you feel sunday hyped up but monday you dead you have not experienced the presence i mean we have what we call in in modern life now we have zoom calls we have whatsapp calls you can see the person face to face like here's the phone ah you are there you are uh yeah you have them you you know that that zoom calls it's not the same as being face to face where you can sense the the the presence of the person it's it's it's literally the same data but the presence is different it's the presence is different so i want to move on to telling you the evidence of presence now that was the one that we spoke about last week you remember the evidence of of the presence where it says it ignites your heart like in luke 24 32 as they said to one another did not our hearts burn within us so that's the one then life transformed exodus 34 verse 21 and it come to pass when moses came down from mount sign i'm in mount sinai with the two tablets of testimony in moses hand when he came down from the mount that moses wished not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with them with him so that is life life that has been transformed then there's peace according to exodus 33 verse 14 and he said my presence shall go with thee and i will give thee rest then i said also when the presence is there there's fruits that grow like this growth you can see i'm the vine here are the branches he that abided in me and i in him the same bringeth forth much fruit for without me you can do nothing now the question is if the presence is so powerful like all these things are happening in your life picture if your heart burned for something if your your life gets transformed by every time when you are in the presence of god and you feel the peace of god that transcends all minds and something is moving in you to grow just picture all that imagine you have that but you cannot host that how do you host that that's the question question this is the question now i think i need to i need to get a mouse because this uh what is this thing called uh this track pit it's not helping me fast enough i'll just get a mouse okay yeah you see this one is better because what i do is this mouse bed is going and then i must go down up down up so hosting the presence let me start off by the ark now you see the ark at obet idom's house let me second samuel 6 verse 11 let's go to second samuel 6 verse 11 2nd samuel 6 and verse 11 verse 11 says and the ark of the lord continued in the house of abet abet adam the gittite three months and the lord blessed abet abet idom and all his household and the lord blessed him and his household now his house overflowed with blessings because they made they made room for the presence they make room for the present that is why when you make room for god in your house when you give him honor his blessing will surely show his blessing will surely show let me let me ask you the question picture this now if god can only stay in your house for three months three months next three months like stay you have the present anytime you woke up he's there he's like imagine this this picture this now you say lord i want water your your servant he's your servant for three months just just just picture that because remember with god there's no there's no need what do you call it like there's no he doesn't he doesn't need to go and ask can i quickly borrow a car he have it you know so everything in the world is his now picture him serving you for three months snap your finger just picture that and this is why this act of ed obert adam's house was blessed so if you are in a need of feeling that you are cursed invite him into your house invite him into your life because sometimes i feel like you're this empty chairs and i'm not talking about bishop you have your full house here look at who where's my family look there next next and i don't i don't i don't i'm not a fighter i don't care whether you come or not i don't care for me it's about making sure that my my my message went out so if god stays just in your lounge for three months but now the bible also says that if you're looking at it how do you host the presence because the presence is also to make sure that you are reminded that you are the temple that's hosting you are the temple because according to first corinthians 6 verse 19 and 20 what know ye not that your body is the temple of the holy ghost which is in you which you have of god and he are not your own but you are bought with the price therefore glorify god in your body and in your spirit which are god's not they are not somebody else's they're not your wives they're not your husbands they're not your boyfriends the body of yours is god's they're not that cigarette they're not that alcohol the body of christ is your your body is is christ's so whenever you put in something that is not of good like sometimes i do put that coke like nobody's business bishop i drink coca-cola like and i don't i don't think of this mocava not realizing that i sometimes fill up the temple of god with food some might say no i'm not i'm not addicted to cigarette i'm not addicted to alcohol but there's certain things that you don't you know i'm not going to go into that but there's certain things that you fill the the house of god with you know that judgmental talks that you have oh he's keeping himself he's making us if he's holier than thou you are cursing somebody swearing like nobody's business you are the temple so do you know that when guests come to your house they don't go to your bathroom just go open any door they can find thinking it's bathroom no no no they are not like that they will come and ask you can i room your can i use your restroom you said go to the left upstairs the first door on your right that's the bathroom or restroom like they say but when you when you have a guest it's like they have restrictions but picture god in your temple that is the owner it's a different kind of story it's something totally totally god is not a visitor he's a resident in your house in your temple and that is how you host the the the lord by making sure that anytime whenever you do certain things almost go to that one that they they like to put that wrist pencil they say what would jesus do so anytime you want to do something you are like what would have been what if i if i do this will it filthy the temple of god so you are the temple you are the temple now i want you to to to also go to the next one which is cultivating an atmosphere cultivating an atmosphere and i need us to go to judges 16 verse 20 16 verse 20 now judge 16 verse 20 says as follow and she said the philippines be upon thee samson and he awoke out of his sleep and said i will go out as at other times before and shake myself and he wished not that the lord was departed from him picture that somebody who had strength and might when he can stand by anybody he can just and hit them 30 50 or at once samson was so strong but when he realized the lord's presence departed from me he was in trouble so samson lost strength because he treated presence casually like he ah he's just if you treat god's presence as he he it's just something you will surely one day realize something has changed it's like it's like that husband and wife next to each other every night then one day the wife just walk out and say i'm done you have neglected the presence of your wife because your wife is here but yet you have not made her feel like you are the husband and she's the wife she just get up one day gone i'm done with you not even giving you a chance to apologize not even giving you a chance to to make up for all the lost times it's the same that god's presence you will just you will just one day you just decide let me just take it one day off and you will feel that pain so guarding that presence i made a note here now i even said some got their wi-fi passwords more than what they the more than the prayer lives nobody must get this wi-fi password my question is which one do you protect more don't let the presence of god be away from you like that job you've been coming to every day you got so used to it that whenever you go to work you know exactly what to do you don't ask for extra things sometimes they just get you there you do exactly what they they ask you to do and one day somebody steps in and says we can change one two three four five six because this has been done like this forever they hire that person because the person look further than just the the job that needs to be done i don't want to i don't want to sound like i am a a problematic but truth is truth and truth should be told truth is truth and truth should be told it's one of the things that that that most people don't understand is that when you when you are at a place for argument's sake i'm just making an example of the church when you come to church you sit on your chair you go home come to church sit on your chair you go home you don't take part in the oomph of the day you know like i don't know how to explain it like when god says change your habits you move into that change when god says hey you know sometimes we say it's just my own thoughts but god is speaking loud guarding that presence of god i want you to to picture this now do you know that there's a manifestation that shows when you host the presence there's a manifestation that shows that when you host that presence number one that shows that you're hosting that presence is joy joy joy and speaker according to psalm 16 verse 11 thou wilt show me the part of life and thy presence in thy presence is fullness of joy at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore so psalm 16 verse 11 thou wilt show me the part of life in thy presence is fullness of joy and thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore and and there's actually so much more than just the joy in this scripture if i break it down for you you would see what i mean by that thou show me the part of life now what is the part of life huh like like like life has been tough he shows me the part where it's smoother uh bishop that one that he says that my yoke is easier you see so it means that the part that he shows you even if you are yoked it's an easier yoke even if i if if my family is killed in one day just because of i am with him it felt easier i mean i lost my family the first first message i got my my my father and one boy died i knew for a fact that it's my son's was with my my father but the person that spoke to me didn't know it's my son so when he spoke to me he said there's a this boy that died with your father in my mind immediately i knew it could be one of my boys but because of god's presence because of god i've been with god for quite some time it was easier to absorb that message the next thing i hear there's another boy that also passed away when the ambulance came there i immediately knew but because of god the manifestation of hosting his presence made it easier just to find out when i tried calling my mother the phone keep on ringing and somebody called me to say your mother is also gone so picture that you almost feel like job at that moment because you get the message you get another message you get another message you get another message if it would have come all at once it would have been better because the things that goes through your head and this on a saturday but because of the presence of god that was with me i could easily getting used to it now that kind of joy i'm talking about thou shalt show me the path of life is that one then he says in thy presence is fullness of joy why are you said because he said joy cometh in the morning so last night when you were said why is this morning not having joy is it because you have neglected his presence he said he said he said he goes as father thy right hand they are pleasures forever more lack of nice times manifestation that's you you're hosting then there's according to exodus 33 verse 14 and he said my presence shall go with thee so when the presence go with thee i will give thee rest oh i'm stressing how will i be able to pay uh didn't he say if his presence go with he will give you rest his presence his presence will give you rest i'm not going to go into that because what we've done there my daughter was was um we were having a conversation on uh thursday i think and one of the things that came out of our conversation is that she said she sometimes feel like she's very anxious and it's like her chest is is is like closing you know like and i said to her that is a show of something that is making you anxious and i i asked but before i asked i was asking something and then she said i think i overthink too much is the reason why she get anxious sometimes and i so much wanted to minister to her at that time but i saw it was not the right moment to minister to her because i know if i can say something now she's not going to take it nicely because the the conversation the prior to that wouldn't have set her up to receive you understand what i'm trying to say if i fight with you now and i want to correct you it's not going to be the same thing it's going to be like already we are in the fight mode i'm not going to help i left it and and i wanted to say to her i need you to speak to me about something but i just left it you know prophetic is something else hey when you are prophetic you don't see the the hand for what it is you see deeper than what the hand is you see the hand how it it's like presenting god's hand upon our lives that's how you when you are prophetic you don't see just the normal hand you see something deeper then the next one is authority now when you're talking about authority now authority according to x4 31 let's read x4 31 today i'm going through the scriptures quick quick because i i don't want us to to be like last week and not getting everything in order so when when when i can ask you just write the scriptures down don't um how do you say don't go to the scriptures and lose out what i'm trying to say just listen and write it down x4 31 and when they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together and they were all filled with the holy ghost and they speak the word of god with boldness can you see that authority so when when when you have prayed and you are together and the holy ghost filled within you bishop the question i was asking earlier on you remember i was asking that i think we need to invite the holy spirit amen because i know that will make a huge difference it will make a huge difference and that's why he says they were filled with the holy ghost and they speak the word of god with boldness so that's the authority that you can say to the devil because you are full of his presence you can say to the devil out of here you don't deserve this place you are not part of me you my my my family doesn't belong to you my family belongs to god just go that's the presence then the presence also give you favor so it gives you joy it gives you rest it gives you authority and favor as love and remember this is just some things that i give as presence when god's presence is with you but there is more than this there's so much more i don't even want to uh who said i don't even want to restrict by saying it that this is the only four i'm talking about because there is more i'm just giving you the basics just you know what you can do you can do yourself a favor and and and and maybe go in on the bible and ask when god's presence is with me what will i get more than just what we've i've given you now i can tell you now some some guys when they when they or let me say some christians when they are filled with the presence of god when they at work it's a different kind of atmosphere that they create more than hr policies like a different kind of atmosphere that they give that favor that comes upon them like like like if i can make an example the kind of work that i do today it has nothing to do with my qualifications because if my qualifications were were taken at stake i wouldn't have gotten this job because the qualification of this job that i'm doing at this moment you have to have some sort of a a a degree and the the degree needs to be in something that has to do with business management or had to do with relationship management or whatever the case may be but i got it not because of the fact that i can i can say to you i got the job it's the favor of god that is upon my life because if you're looking at genesis 39 genesis 39 verse 2 and 3 and the lord was with joseph the lord was with joseph and he was a prosperous man and he was in the house of the master the egyptian and his master saw that the lord was with him and that the lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand that is fever fever fever and i'm not going to go get into this one too much because some people say don't mind them when they say about tell you about you are lucky hey be careful be careful luck has nothing to do with it there's no such thing as luck let me let me let me let me let me not get there let me leave it there now how do you host this kind of presence because i've been telling you all about presence now and you might say okay you showed me now how do i what is the presence how does it show in your life but the problem is i've hurt you i've hurt you but how do i do it how do i practically do it you know something practical is more than words spoken i can teach you how to prophesy but if i don't give you the practical part of it you won't know it's bishop i'm going to start a prophetic teaching somewhere october i will start a i have another four-part prophetic teaching that i need to do okay because i feel the the the need for prophetic or for people to be equipped with a prophetic so i will even make it open that we can invite a few people for that four weeks to come and join in it's a teaching that i'm going to give on profiting i've done it i think it's three weeks back nema where i was talking about to the prophetic on on yeah to speak to yourself prophetically you remember i was talking about that one so so i'm going to do do another one but a four part for four weeks i don't know should i do it should i rather just do it as a teaching like where somebody can ask questions or or should i speak about it on this platform like this because here it's like i'm talking to you but nobody's talking back or nobody can actually talk back you understand so maybe i should make it as a i teach for 20 minutes open up the room for another 20 minutes somebody come back and and say i've got this maybe something like that but i will definitely do it regardless whether i'm going to teach it here or i'm going to teach it online because i'm thinking online so that people that can't make it from everywhere they can also do it okay but but we'll we'll talk about that one let me let me get back to i said to you how to host the presence like how do you host it daily not not just not just for once in a while coming to church on sunday but monday you forget ish the bible i've put it ah i forgot my bubble is even in church still bishop have you have you did you get that before you know i was looking for my bible for a whole week like monday i'm thinking but where did i put this bible i i tell you tuesday i'm like my bible is gone then i use phone because we are getting so used to the phone on sunday when i get back to church now i was the one i always open up the church i was the first one to get into church and bible was sitting there in front of me looking at me like uh you say you say you want to read me every day but yeah you left me in church bishop i felt awkward because of i look for the bible and after that the second day i thought so i started reading on the phone but when i get to church i was like you look at this guy sitting here relaxing waiting for me luckily i was the first one to be in church picture this me as the big pastor of the of the of the church when i get in with some few people and saying they say isn't this your bible the embarrassment i wonder what he was reading through the course of the week because we know him to only have one bible picture that thing you need to host him daily and this is the the start of it worship intentionally don't just i worship thee i worship thee almighty god no worship him intentionally like with the heart of worship not just a voice of singing because some of us think that singing worship songs is how you worship god no no no no let me just just worship him because that's a teaching on his own hey that's a that's like to worship him ah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's a it's something that is deeper than just singing the song then number two is using his word daily feed your soul with the scriptures like don't go and and and and and say i should eat the scrolls no don't go and eat bible pages bishop is is that what they say eat no don't eat take the scripture and make it your own like when the bible says in in psalm 23 verse 1 the lord is my shepherd you don't just say the lord is my shepherd without pondering on what does this mean because just in that small part is there's lots and lots of information the lord who is it the lord then you ask okay the lord is no not he was not he's going to be he is you understand how you read the bible you don't you you need to ask that question he said is why would he say is and not say it was or not he's going to be he says is so you you see how you read the bible then you say wow it means regardless it's going to be the future the past or the present he's going he's still is and then he says my shepherd now your question is is he bishop's uh abram's shepherd is not yours baba is mine mine you understand so that's how you read the bible because you're breaking it up into pieces and you you question it and when you do that you feed your soul now when it goes to the shepherd now the question is if the lord is my shepherd i'm not a sheep wow wow wow wow my sheep shall hear my voice now the question is if he says my sheep who am i and i can't hear his voice so can you see how you read the bible you start questioning and take different message or different scriptures and passages messages messages from different places and you make it to understand just that small sentence that is the word daily yo yo yo i wish i wish um i had somebody in the in in here today that could have listened to this message i will send her this message because this message is also specifically for her then let's go to the next one um but you understand when i say read the bible not read the novel not read this is not a not a mills and booms that you read from cover to cover in one night done no if you read it that way you're surely going to miss a lot of things there's lots they say read the bible in 365 i sometimes wish i can understand those people because when you read the bible in in 365 there's not enough time to read it they will take a passage bishop they will break this thing down into 365 days they say read psalm 27 for one day but psalm 27 is not supposed to be read in one day it's so supposed to be read many days you should be hitting on it if you read psalm 27 one time you have not done it you need to read from the verse one ponder on it yeah i'm pressing too much on this one god is telling us we need to read the bible then number two i mean number three i said you need to worship intentionally you need to get to his word daily number three is walk in obedience obedience obedience is better than sacrifice how do you obey there needs to be an instruction to obey bishop that one i didn't have in my notes i don't even know where it come from but for fact i know holy spirit teach and guide somebody that is obedient needs some sort of instruction and what is the instruction the instruction goes back to you know you know sometimes i need to know let me explain it this way now when you want god's presence you surely surely surely need to surrender you surrender you surrender to him that's how you walk in obedience number four welcome others bishop somebody stinks and you don't want to talk to him because they are stinking you miss an opportunity to minister to somebody somebody is drunk and you don't want to talk to them you miss an opportunity to show his presence to the drunkard i mean sometimes his presence flow through fellowship you remember when we talked there was a time when we just say something then it's like wow god is really speaking here just by having fellowship sometimes we're not in church even we're not in church we're just somewhere talking like normal talk and then somebody says it feels like my my hair is growing up i'm surely the presence of god is here and somebody wants to know normally feel that first before they say the presence is there some of them i'm telling you they want physical walking with others let me let me ask you now your phone if it's not a 5 000 mah or 10 000 mah or 20 000 mah aren't you charging me daily so why not recharge the presence of god sometimes not even daily maybe three hourly maybe five hours but recharge that presence if you can charge your phone you can charge god's presence lord jesus make my life and orbit adam house so that the blessings can live among us each and everyone that is under the word the sound of my word the sound of my voice they will be an orbit idom house the presence of god will surely be with them the presence of god will evidently be with them today if there's anything that is making us to fall short of the presence of god i pray in the mighty name of jesus forgive us for not doing the right things help us so that whatever is standing in the way of us feeling and knowing and having your presence take it as far as the east is from the west my god in the mighty name of jesus christ i pray now also in the mighty name of jesus christ that anything have made you so
