When Knowing Is the Problem

so what i always like to do is i always like to say who this message is for because of i want to make sure that anybody who doesn't want to hear something like this from the beginning of the message they know this message is not for me now this message is for somebody who knows what to do they know what to do but they don't do it that's the number one thing this message is for somebody who have been attending who have been listening who have been reading who have been watching who have been agreeing like they they have done all the courses that you can find but yet nothing shifts this message is for somebody who felt like yo the time has been flying ish but i still feel like my life has been stuck it's like i've been coming for a long time i come but up till now my life has not moved anywhere you are tired of these sermons yo this pastor can preach every week they inspire you they make you feel like yo i want to get off my ass i'm saying it yeah i want to get off my ass that you don't expect for somebody to preach like that but i'm saying it yes this message has been moving me to get off my ass but yet my behavior did not change accordingly this message is for you are very religious oh jesus is my savior you even say jesus is my savior i shall not be moved jesus is my savior i shall not be moved just like a tree that's planted by the wall waters i shall not be moved you you you are so much religious now anytime whenever somebody speaks to you you talk jesus this is the kind of message you talk jesus but yet results doesn't show in your life this is who the message is for and if you don't fall under that department or under these sections or things that i've said to you you might just don't worry about the message i mean if i can tell you now this message is even for those one that think that they are they are they know that god does exist then they are aware that god does exist but yet they are unsure how fate they are unsure how fate translate to showing god is in my life do you know those those people that every time whenever they they they come to church i don't know how can somebody keep on preaching how god is good but in my life i don't see it this is the person i'm talking about this is the person i'm talking about now my message is entitled when knowing is the problem did you hear what i said my message is entitled when knowing is the problem you know god ah yeah yeah yeah if anybody tells you ah don't tell me that thing i know god if anybody tells you nonsense or something something i know my bible yes i know my bible don't come and tell me otherwise i know my bible when knowing is the problem but i want us to read out of the message um james one verse now let me start by 21 i should be saying remember this this this this this message it's not about church attendance because you can come to church every every week you are the the one that whenever they talk about there's a new whatever whatever you know bishop do you know there's there's some of the people they that anytime whenever there's a new church in town they are members they are members already they just heard so i'm not talking about church attendance i'm talking about your life aligning i'm talking about obedience to what god is about to do in your life james 1 verse 21 and i'm going to read from the the new king james version therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word which is able to save your souls but be a doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yourself for if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror for he observes himself goes away and immediately forgets what kind of man he was but he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and it's not forgetful hearers but a doer of the work this one will be blessed in what he does this one will be blessed in what he does James he speaks to people who hear the truth who agree with the truth who understand the truth but they delay obedience this is what he speaks about the danger is not the ignorance because they're not ignorant it makes me thinking they're not ignorant of his devices they're not ignorant they're deceiving themselves self deception if you know you know God why do you keep on feeling that I need to become a better person but yet I'm not I don't want to go in too deep now but I want to make a something known to you the Bible have what we call a a Kairos word and the Bible have what we call a Kronos word let me explain to you what I mean by this what I mean there's two differences the Kronos word Kronos is what we call years of building the ark that was the time that was spent to build the ark God says for specific time when the rain comes prepare yourself so when Kronos is there it's knowing that rain is coming so I need to prepare now yet when you're talking about the Kronos the Kairos time it's the Kairos time is the appointed time now to enter the ark so Kairos wasn't said one when it was it was when the clouds were enough to pour rain but yet who knows when the clouds will become too much example yesterday my wife and a few friends went to to do this hiking Northern Cape Northern Cape is full of nonsense they have words that does not make sense by us when you talk about hike we go hike they talk about do you know what this means is to ask for a lift so when the Northern Cape talk about hiking hike they talk about go and ask for a lift on the road I'm on my way from Postmasburg to Kimberley I'm just going to go to the hike spot I hike but my wife went for hiking which is where they walk in a trail they walk walk so yesterday when they went there the whole weather showed the rain so they wanted to stop going there because of what the chronos time at that moment showed what the Bible shows now it shows that the chronos time showed but all open air for the people of Noah chronos shows there's open air how can it become rain now to them the chronos shows that it's going to rain anytime now but yet the kairos moment was when they were actually done with all the walking then it started raining so your chronos time always confuse your kairos moments I hope it makes sense because when kairos moments comes it's the guy who has been posting for years and years on his TikTok page every day constantly three times a day yet did not go viral I want to make sure that I'm putting this into you like I want to how say that you are hoping of the of Facebook of didn't sound and I can you check of didn't and see so what I'm trying to say is that you've been posting on Facebook for quite some time and it's not that it's not valuable things that you've been posting but your chronos time but your chronos time is the day when you go viral suddenly does it make sense Genesis one verse I mean seven verse one then the Lord said to Noah come into the ark you and all your household preparation was long but action was urgently it was an urgent move ma do you understand when I say let's prepare the church as if we are already millions because we don't know when God's kairos time hits the church and we are not yet prepared this is the difference when you are talking about the chronos time and the kairos time Abraham has been waiting for years imagine he's been waiting for years then in Genesis 12 verse 1 God says get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you imagine Debra is like having all the cows all the house has been nicely built giving up a house for a tent huh you are settled in your ways you are so comfortable in working for somebody else yet you have not prepared to start your own business and suddenly they what is they fired you and as they fired you God says start your business but you have not prepared your kronos moment is here but your I mean your kairos moment is here but your kronos moments has not been prepared for kairos time James 1 22 I know I know I know I know we used to sing we used to sing in in in the in our church that time what it means is that when he comes on the clouds whatever that day are you prepared for that day when you talking about I know are you prepared my question are you prepared for if Jesus comes now no other time no no are you prepared we are not prepared we are not prepared your kronos time has been spent with kronos time things bishop do you know since this new year started anything I want to do I first ask the question is it going to move the needle if it doesn't move a needle I don't want to do it because if I keep on doing things that does not make sense or does not move anything in my life it shows I don't care about my life it shows I don't care where I'm heading it shows it does not matter where I'm going as long as any road will take you there any road will take you wherever if you don't have a map Abraham was said go to the get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you no map no map he didn't even say how long will the journey takes God they they overthink too much they even over praying too much they wait for certainty if I start this job I mean if I start this business will I be certain that I will have enough money to look after the family there's no certainty there is no certainty kairos will never come kairos will never come with full clarity giving you like exact direction it shows it gives you almost like a kairos almost gives you like a hint just do this but he doesn't give you a clarity on what to do that was the introduction now I want to take the moment and go back to the James the Greek word deceiving it says it's paralogico zomei paralogizomei whatever that means I don't care but the thing I'm saying next to you is what matters it means false reasoning so you are reasoning falsely with yourself deceiving means I know I'm a liar yet I lie to people I'm not a liar it's sometimes talking to yourself into thinking that you are fine because you heard the truth but yet you're not there do you know that when you have gained information information is there to help you to make an informed decision because God has been given you a way of of of who's that man he told you that I put before you life and death so he's given you a free will to choose so although you have the information you still have to choose there's a there's a difference between hearers and doers hearers which the Greek word for hearers it's accruitas meaning a passive learner or listener sorry a passive listener so when you are hearer you are an audience member you are the audience you sit you consume and you evaluate that is a hearer that is somebody who heard while a doer is what the Greek word call it it's poetis poetis poetis meaning a producer not music producer not making a rap rap a producer meaning a creator no no let me no no no let me let me make it make it this way a doer is the guy that makes all the tiktoks and the hearer is the one that watches the tiktoks yes so when you when you stand behind that camera go and look if you are a hearer how many drafts do you have in your tiktok how many drafts do you have in your tiktok i so much want to post this but not now later so producers creators and these ones that acts are the one that makes it far you can dream and you can dream big but do you know how you can dream big get off the clouds and put your foot on the ground and start moving dreaming is somebody who have their head in the cloud but doers are the one that get their foot on the ground and start walking towards their dream start doing towards their dream this is where the kairos moments came most of the kairos moments came because God has already asked you to post that video and that is the video that everybody is actually awaiting the world is awaiting upon that video the world is awaiting upon that message yet your kairos moment has come and go come and go come and go but your chronos time has been filled with nonsense filled with nonsense and I'm making this about TikTok and the what not but do you know I'm not talking about TikTok here I'm not talking about TikTok here don't get me wrong TikTok is just a way of showing you what you go through and wasting your kairos moments I want to become a keyboard player yeah let me make an example I want to become a keyboard player but I don't have a keyboard do you know that they have they have proven it that when somebody practice in their head a thousand times it's almost the same as practicing on a real keyboard somebody practicing the shot like like what is that long man there's this tall guy chakilo nilo whatever yeah see he he he he take the ball and practice closing his eyes see the ball vision it envision it take it through when they through they see how it land in the basket but throwing it from far only in the mind the mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's not why not start envisioning at least your Kairos moment what is your Kairos moment look for that moment that you know this is going to change my life forever somebody who is a content creator has been waiting for that moment that they go viral they evoked it within their spirit the day when I go viral I will be laughing I will be happy the day when I meet that 100,000 K of followers I will put a big cake and I will write on the cake 100 K and I will put the candles there 100 K I will take a drone shot of my 100 K cake and vision me so that when the Kairos moment comes you prepare and don't get heart attack you I got 100 K because the emotions is so much you died because of the emotions you have not yet prepared you have achieved what you wanted but yet your heart wasn't ready to accept it let me let me bring it home let me bring it home I want to become a millionaire but yet every hundred rent I have I squander it on things that doesn't bring in more money it's like the guy who says I can give you the fish but I will feed you for a day but when I teach you how to fish I will feed you for a lifetime I can give you a million dollars remember million dollars is more than the million rent of South Africa you don't know that I want to be a millionaire I don't want to be a millionaire I want to be a millionaire I don't know whatever that name is but a millionaire in dollars even euros is even better but what I'm trying to say the moment you become a millionaire because you have not been prepared in your chronos time your chronos time prepared you for a hundred rent and when your hundred rent comes you don't make it a million rent because you are used to hundred rent so when your chronos moment is prepared for the kairos moment of becoming a millionaire even when you have hundred rent you make it a million rent even if you get to the million and you lose the million you will still come back to that million I hope it makes sense do you know why here is they feel safe in the environment where they are it costs nothing it costs nothing to be in your comfort zone it doesn't need you to wake up earlier it doesn't need you to even move because there you feel safe doing costs you your comfort chronos moments it rewards routine when you do things constantly remember there's something I need to I need to also advise you on neck and there's something I need you to advise you on as well sorry there's something I need you to advise you on is that sometimes when life gives you a certain thing it's not it's not possible when life gives you something that it's not possible that you normal let me no let me let me choose it let me choose my words differently when life gives but what I'm trying to say is she doing in her chronos time the things and every time the kairos moments happen when she is not even thinking of it so prepare yourself to know that one day it will happen and yet be ready for it yet be ready for it do you know that let me let me explain chronos to you now chronos is a sequential time it's like the clock time like there's a schedule in your life you're supposed to live from a seed up until 70 years which is your life spent after that grace has been given to you am I correct by saying it now do you know the bible says 70 years we're supposed to live anything after that is grace god has been giving you grace now what that means it's the schedule of your life so when you wake up in the morning you know to go to school at eight o'clock i must wake up by six if i wake up by half past seven and i still had to chabas eight o'clock i won't make it so these are the chronos time and chronos repeats itself it's going to be day to day tomorrow tonight is going to be night time we will sleep tonight it's it's a it's a cycle of repeats but it maintains your life when you're speaking about the kairos moment it's an appointed time it's an appointed time it's a decisive moment that you have to make the right decision it's an opportunity door that opens at a specific time the kairos moment is a moment that you think it will happen the way you you have planned it anytime when the angel starts stirring the water somebody run in front of me that's what the guy thought it will happen when he gets into the water he will have his kairos moment lo and behold that was not his kairos moment it's when somebody says ah you waiting for water get up man go what do you mean get up and go bishop do you know what i'm talking about that in that moment you will know what is right and wrong it's not about what you think it will be you will know what it is Luke 1944 wait let me let me quickly read Luke 1944 look 1944 now I just want you to see something here it says and shall and shall lay thee even with the ground and thy children within thee and they shall not live in the stone upon another because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation so if you don't know your time of visitation at least do the preparation you don't know the time of visitation do the preparation should I say that again you don't know the time of visitation but do the preparation because when you do the preparation at least you are aware it will happen do you know what is our our our thing for the year our year thing is the year of action have you heard since the very first time of preaching I've been preaching the year of action bishop I've I've tried to I've tried to spoke to myself and asking myself some questions about what is my message actually what is my core message have you heard since my very first day of preaching it has always been about taking action it's always been I have not known another message I preach it differently every time but it's the same message I might be I might be coming with a different angle but every time it's the same message a message about action a message about moving forward a message about taking the step towards where you supposed to be that is my core message I might be changing it to let's talk about preaching about prophetic I mean a teaching on prophetic I in the teaching of prophetic I still tell you what action to take Amen Luke 19 you did not know the time of your visitation they were busy and missed the Kairos moment because they were busy maintaining the Kronos moments you have been living a life and you call yourself you live the life for 40 years you've been living one year repeatedly I want that to sink in you've been living for 40 years but you have repeated one year 40 times you keep on telling yourself that God is not coming through for me but you've been living one year repeatedly expecting God to come through Kairos moments has come and go and yet your decisions did not allow you to move into your Kairos moments I am sorry but when I look at my notes I have not done my notes how long have we been I'm trying to check how long have we been okay can I can I ask because I'm thinking our our time I'm going to give you small small how do you call it quick ones I'm going to give you a quick action steps because I want to make sure that anytime whenever we we preaching it's not about preaching but it's giving you things that you must do to help you do you know it's not all the time I'm right please don't get me wrong I'm just giving you suggestions everyone have their own challenges have their own things in their life but when I give a brief it doesn't mean I have the right answer for you I'm giving the answer as from what I think it could be make sense what I'm trying to say you know like for somebody who's a woman I can't give the same message as what I have for I've given to a man because they are not the same if I say the Greek word for implanted is empitos it means to be rooted it means to be embedded it means to grow from within so align with the implanted word according to James 1 21 truth must move from information to internal conviction you know like you get informed but information without without transformation information without transformation is next ask yourself what truth comes keep on coming to me you know like every time every time God speaks to me he tells me I'm the apple of his eye every time he speaks about I'm the apple of his eye and being the apple of God's eye do you know that the devil can do whatever he wants to he can't touch you and here you fight demons that can't come closer to you because God already shown you you are the apple of his eye and being the apple of God's the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and continues in it so the Greek word for continues is paramino now paramino it means to remain to stay or to persist remains to stay or persist it's things because we want to make the big steps before doing the smallest so movement is never about the big steps it's about the one thing at one time that's it so you know sometimes when you think of certain things you send the message send that message I mean you thinking it's been long I haven't heard from this guy I wonder how he is send the message don't wait like me ma can I can I tell you I hate calling anybody after eight o'clock eight o'clock at night I will not I will not call you because I respect somebody after eight o'clock it's time for bed time for family I will not call you unless we have an appointment to call after eight but I will not call you so send the message even if it's nine o'clock ten o'clock eleven o'clock send the message because that small action might be the change in somebody else's life when God motivates you to motivate somebody and you send the motivation it might have been the motivation that that person was about to commit suicide it's like just just do application apply whether the job is is is asking for 10 years of experience 20 years of studies just apply don't bother apply for that job if the job is yours even if you have the qualifications or not God will still give it to you we sometimes look at the chronos time giving you the three years of studies you went to UNISA and you did the three years they ask specifically if you have three years of studies in UNISA you must apply yet they did not mention the 30 years of experience you already have in the same thing sometimes we don't even have the experience and all they did is they just put the hiding there so that the people that want to yeah let me make this example let me make this this is a perfect example what I'm talking about we at workplace we have what we call a position open for somebody and the position was was put there a dealership area manager assistant do you know why they put it as assistant they didn't put it as dealership area manager because they didn't wanted millions of applications so when they put it as assistant the one that qualified for the job did not apply because being a manager already I can't go to assistant to apply for assistant but because of the process of having millions of applications they put it out as an assistant and lo and behold the one that did not think that this job is below me got the job you that think they say dealership area manager you have not have a management position before you can't apply they literally wanted somebody but yet you had the qualifications you were working in there they wanted you but you did not apply I'm just saying act in small steps movement unlocks momentum movement unlocks momentum Matthew 7 24 and 27 therefore whoever hears these saying of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock you rock whoever does you rock picture this everybody heard that both of them built but one acted that's where the difference comes in your action is where the difference comes in some storms do reveal your obedience as well some storms do obedience so so this message is not about the emotions that you are going through but it's about the executions that you need to do it's not about the emotions that you are going through but it's about the executions that you had to do ask yourself these questions what did I hear repeatedly but I never acted upon it is there a specific step that I've been postponing that will take me to the next level these are questions there's a step that I need to do I've not done it Bishop do you know what kairos rewards your obedience so if your consistency pitch up and consistently doing it and consistently being obedient to what God is asking you your kairos moment is about to come I can guarantee you that but now you have heard enough all I'm asking you now move that's it I can't be coming and telling you lots and lots and lots of things move that's it move move
