How do I stop measuring myself against everyone else? - Fountain of Grace International

Someone posts their results, their promotion, their family photo, and something in your chest just drops. Not because you hate them. Because you suddenly feel smaller. That feeling is old, and it is common, and it lies to you every time. The problem with comparison is that it borrows someone else's ruler to measure your life. God never handed you that ruler. He gave you one sentence that changes everything:

"But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."

- Galatians 6:4 (KJV)

Before tonight, write down one thing you did this week that was genuinely yours, not someone else's win, just yours. It can be small. You got up. You kept going. You showed up for someone. Hold it in your hands for a moment and say thank you to God for it. That is enough.

What would change today if you judged your life only by what God has actually asked of you?

Father, I confess I have been measuring myself with the wrong ruler. Teach me to look at my own life with honest and grateful eyes. What you have given me is enough to work with. Help me run my own race today. Amen.
